This mod will bring more personality to your sims!
There have been 2 other mods that I have found so far that do about the same thing, however, they have not been updated in a long time. The mods are: PTME Emotional Overcharge by FlorainPTME which hasn’t been updated since July 2016. There have been comments stating that it is broke and causes problems with Dine Out. You can find that mod HERE if you want to take a look at it. The other mod Autonomous Interactions by weebl_101 also has not been updated since Jan 2016 and also has reports of it being broken. You can find that mod HERE
This does not requre Parenthood or Vampire Packs. If you do not have those, then those interactions or adjustments WILL NOT be in your game.

WIP
This mod is a work in process. What does that mean? Means more additions could be added at any time so check back often! For example: Pets. After that pack comes out I plan on playing around with it and maybe a new add-on will be created specifically for pets just like it was for our lively toddlers!
This mod is going to add excitement to your game! I removed the idle chat that sims used to do. What that was, was sims would randomly go up to someone and just “Chat”. Just like it says. The sims learned nothing. They did nothing that was from their moods or traits. By removing the idle chat, sims now choose an actual interaction. Now they will ask about day, kiss, tell jokes, be mean. Your enemy sim at any given time could come up to your sim and beat you up!
Interactions are based off of several factors. If a sim is evil they are more likely to do mean interactions or if they are romantic they like to choose romance over mean interactions. Their moods will play a factor in how the sims act. If they are extremely mad they are bound to yell at anyone and who ever near by. They are less likely to do friendly interactions during a hostile moment. All interactions used are listed under their add-on or flavor.
Flavors & Add-Ons read each one carefully. Just downloading the woohoo add-on does not give you risky woohoo or change the try for baby chances.

Polarbearsims Blog & Mods 
Hello Polarbearsims, and Ty! MCD says this conflicts with *deep conversations* mod by Bienchen83. IDK if you are familiar with that mod but is this a true conflict or can these be safely used together? If not, could you please help me with a workaround (if it’s as easy as editing one or two lines in a tuning file, I can do that!) Or, does your mod already implement these features?

This mod does use the Deep Conversation Interaction. It is also designed to make sims do the deep conversations more than before but more based on the sim and their conversation at hand along with the relationship they currently have. It does not give them any known traits or any new info at this time.

Right above the comment section you will see a huge list of all the XML’s that the mod uses. Right below that it says in all caps letters “DOWNLOAD” If you click on that link it will take you to the download page of Mod the Sims. That is the only place the mod is up for download at. I hope this helps! 🙂

I apologize for not getting back with you sooner, I don’t recall being notified of the message. I have added a file that will give the sims the chance of learning something about the other sim. What is it on the deep conversations are you wanting to change? If you could go ahead and e-mail me or PM me on MTS for help on the changes. 🙂

Thank you for the request. “Ask to Move In” isn’t one of the interactions in this mod. I do, however, have it as its own stand alone mod called “Autonomous Ask to Move In” Although, I personally don’t see see how this interaction could be considered romantic.

Hello and thank you for your work. I have tried out your mod along with the more restricted romance. I will say that I use that one WW mod by Turbodriver and everything seems to work fine alongside each other. Tons of other mods too but none to really affect. I was using another mod that just limited the romance but still leaked through quite a bit of nonsense flirting. Just not as much. I never really had a chance to test it out too much around non-married sims. But I did have some flirting where the other didn’t like it all too much because they were with another or thought they were hideous, one of the two. But what I have noticed is that the mischief is happening waaaay too often. Usually the fake bad news. Daring to streak seems to be a popular one too. It is happening so often that it affects relationships. Any relationship. Not just controlled sim but all NPCs are doing it way too often with each other. No mischievous traits or aspirations to make them that way. It is major bumming. A very occasional mischievous comment or prank is normal but most people are not that mischievous to those they care about unless they have a unique personality that makes them so mischievous. Even my vanilla game doesn’t do it this often and the vanilla game is pretty bad with that stuff. But I commend you on making a lot of improvements besides that mischievous thing, to what I consider the worst AI mechanics of any game I have seen in the last 10 years. I am undecided if I can handle so much mischief to continue using it for me personally but your mod is a beautiful creation and fabulous fix for so many other poor behaviors that EA had set before.

Thank you for letting me know how a few interactions are acting. If you could, test it with out WW because I think it does stuff with interactions. When you put this mod with another that changes interactions, it can cause them to happen to often. After you test it by itself, let me know if they are still happening to often. Thank you.

Well, you were right. One thing, the only thing affected, is not what I would have expected being affected. Mischief. Who would of thought? Anyway, it didn’t eliminate mischievous comments by taking out WW but there were only 3 comments in the 3 real time hours I spent playiing with this mod but without the WW. With WW it seems like every 3rd comment from anybody was the repetitive same mischievous comments. Without the WW though, and it’s mechanics for nudity and nudity reactions, my spouse with both relationship bars maxed kept reacting to any nudity of my sim as being grotesque. WW offers an attractiveness system too. The vanilla mechanics has your sim attracted to the most unusual of people. Not my cup of tea with the crappy vanilla system where you have no control over your sims likes and dislikes in other people. So your mod and WW running together would be an awesome asset to the game if it wasn’t for the mischief confliction going on. It was a fun test. My sim was very flirty almost the whole time. Never once did she flirt with anybody but made a flirty introduction to Bella, a married woman of all people. I know there are cheaters that exist in this world. Makes sense for them to exist in sims world too. But even in this world there are many who do take their relationships seriously and are fully committed. This vanilla game doesn’t consider that as an option whatsoever. I hate it! Anyways, I will check back on your mod updates to see if maybe in the future I can start using your mods on a permanent basis alongside my WW. Thanks for humoring me and my situations.

No problem! I just remembered hearing that WW starting doing stuff with interactions. I don’t know to what extent and not sure if you can choose in WW to disable that or not but it would be worth a try to check. If you have MCCC Tuner try making it not autonomous and see if that helps. 🙂 Unfortunately scripters like that aren’t going to change their mod to work with a tuning mod so it’s not something I would think Turbo will do anything about, unless people complain about it happening to much when it’s just his mod in and nothing else.

Is there a way to tune this mod any Polar? I have multiple sims in my household who are literally just constantly spam each other with mischief interactions and now my entire household just hates each other. I have no idea what to do about them at this point LOL

Is there a way to tune this mod at all? I have a house full of sims who are (mostly) nonstop doing Mean/Mischief interactions with each other and at this point my entire household hates each other. I’m not sure what to do at this point.

Hi polarbearsims. I have a question about Personality Please with Restricted Romance. I have a sim who has started a romance relationship with 2 sims, one is single and the other is married. The First Kiss shows up only on the single sim and not on the married sim.

Yes, I have several. I have Zero’s Improved Relationship Cheating mod, Road to Romance mod, and Contextual Cheating module mod. Do you know if they are interfering with the mod?

Unfortunately I don’t know anything about Zero’s mods. I do know that they can conflict with several tuning mods but if it conflicts with this one in particular I don’t know. If they change any of the same interactions this mod does, then yes, there is a good chance there will be a conflict.

I honestly wasn’t really finding anything that had changed. I’m currently updating my game now to do a full check on the Personality Please mod. I don’t like to check that one till after the main patch comes out since it has so many files. I will post at my Discord or update the download page once it’s been checked. 🙂

I haven’t heard of anyone saying it is causing any problems. I don’t plan on going through any mods yet in case EA does hot fixes of the new pack.

I wouldn’t go off of Better Exceptions in regards to if a mod is broken or not. That mod just gives suggestions on possible problems. This mod has been checked for the most recent patch and there are no changes. It is not broken.

hey there I love this mod but my sims will be fairly good friends and they will then insult each other all the time making it so my sims can never have good relationships for long somebody mentioned it might be from this mod is there any way I could turn that off?

I’m glad you enjoy the mod! Excessive mean interactions is usually caused by having this mod with other autonomy mods like Slice of Life, or Meaningful Stories. These kinds of mods don’t technically conflict with Personality Please but they can cause certain interactions to happen more frequently. Some love it that way while for others, it’s a bit much. If this is happening to you, I have separated the mean interactions from the main mod so those who like to use other autonomy mods like the ones I listed, can still use Personality Please without the increase in the mean interactions. Hope this helps!
