Ellie decided after her scare at the hospital and her surgery that she was going to take it easy and take some time off for a little while. This first trimester was really rough on her. She’s been to the hospital now 4 times for severe cramping. So far they have managed to stop the contractions. The baby’s heart rate has been fine and hasn’t been in distress. Each day she counts her blessings that they baby is still with her. “The farther I can get the better my baby has of surviving if they can’t stop the labor.”
By the 2nd trimester Ellie was feeling really good. Its been a couple weeks since her last visit to the doctors and they have her scheduled today for an ultrasound to see how the baby is doing. Brenton and Ellie want to know if they are having a boy or a girl. Ellie painted the nursery green so it won’t matter on the gender.
Brenton and Ellie are home now from the hospital. The ultrasound went very well. The baby was moving, the heart rate was good. Everything seemed to finally looking up for them. Now all Brenton seems to be talking about is what he plans on naming his new little boy. Ellie’s still scared. She’s worried that something still is going to happen. They were able to come home with an ultrasound picture. The first thing Ellie did was frame it and hang it up on the wall. Every time Brenton walks past he can’t stop smiling each time he looks at it. He’s going to be such a great dad! Ellie thought.
Here is their new baby!
What will Brenton and Ellie name their new little bundle? Is Ellie’s miscarriage risk finally taking a turn for the better? Keep reading to find out!
