This is set as a community lot that way it can be used as a Vet Office. In order to use this vet as an apartment and as a business, your sim needs to have another lot set as their Residential lot. Then just keep your sim at this apartment to stay. The upstairs apartment is fully furnished and ready to go for your sim who dreams of having their own small vet office.
The only thing to remember about this lot, babies CAN NOT be at community lots. Which means, your sim will NOT give birth at this lot but will go to the hospital or back to the “Home Lot” The basinet can not be brought to the Vet Office so each time your sim goes back to the apartment or to work, the baby will be sent to daycare. However, toddlers work great in this lot! I have fully tested this lot and it works fine. There’s a door to the apartment staircase if you would like to lock the patients and employees out of your apartment. 
This lot also uses the holiday pack and the Cats and Dogs pack.
Vet Office Offers: 2 exam rooms, 1 surgery room, a spacious waiting room, 1 public bathroom, 1 check in room.
Apartment Offers: open floor plan, dining nook, small living room with reading nook, toddler’s room, 1 bathroom and 1 master bedroom.
