For the last week now that Fiona and Annalise have been home, each time Derick comes home from work Fiona is holding Annalise. He finds it very precious. Just a few weeks ago he almost lost the love of his life and now here she is, holding his other love. Derick decided he was going to get a few pictures of the two together so he could put them on the wall.
Annalise is a very good baby. Not very fussy. Fiona is also doing much better. She’s able to get around the house on her own and even started working on her blogs again for work. She’s even finished her book she was working on prior to Annalise’s birth. She’s hoping to go back to work here pretty soon.
“Don’t you think it’s a little early yet? Annalise is only a month old.” Derick was concerned that she may be trying to push herself back into work to soon. She just had the staples from her surgery removed a couple of days ago.
“If I don’t get out of this house and start doing something I’m going to go crazy!”
Derick felt it was best not to argue. She’s stubborn and if she says she’s going to do something then she’s going to do so regardless of his opinion. Her determination is one of her qualities he has always liked about her even if he didn’t always agree with her. She’s quite irresponsible and doesn’t always decide on good decisions but he doesn’t want her to lose that spark about her. The only thing he hasn’t been able to get her to do yet is set a date for the wedding. Maybe a commitment is to much for her. She is quite happy with how their relationship is right now and probably doesn’t feel she needs a paper stating their commitment to each other.
